Clues To Go    -     Cambridge Historical Centre

This short, walking route starts on Bridge Street, by the Round Church and passes St John's college then Trinity, Kings & St Catherine's colleges, with a diversion along Free School Lane before finishing down Silver Street and onto the bridge across the river next to Queen's College and the Backs.

The questions are nearly all observational, with just a few slightly cryptic ones, so nothing too difficult.

The route is accessable for wheelchairs all the way.

There are 31 colleges in Cambridge, though you will only pass by half a dozen of these on this short route.

Other things to do whilst in Cambridge include:- taking a punt along The Backs  and under the bridges.  Having a pint in the Eagle pub whilst reading the comments left on the ceiling by World War 2 pilots who were stationed in the region. Take a self-guided audio tour of the city

If you are coming to Cambridge by car, its advisable to use one of the five Park-&-Ride car parks on the outskirts of the city. The railway station is about 1 mile south of the city centre, though there are frequent buses running from the station into town.
