Clues To Go   -   Hertfordshire, circular route out of  Bishop's Stortford

A combination of stretches of unclassified roads, taking in a string of  hamlets, with stops along the way at Sawbridgeworth & Stansted Abbotts. Although Bishop's Stortford is the start of this route, there are no questions to be answered there.

The first section of the route crosses open farming land. After a brief stop in Sawbridgeworth, learning a little of its history, you then continue on to Stanstead Abbotts, with a break by the river there. For the second half of the route you visit a number of out-of-the-way villages & hamlets, many seeming to compete with each other for the title of 'most charming'.
